The Lake Bluff Preschool graduated its class of 2023 in late May.

“Congratulations to the 2023 class of Lake Bluff Preschool! They can't wait to join the Lake Bluff Elementary School family next year,” Lake Bluff Park District said on Facebook.

Lake Bluff Preschool has announced an easy enrollment process for the 2023-2024 school year.

The three-step registration process involves selecting the appropriate class based on the child's age, completing the registration at the Lake Bluff Park District office, and making the required payment, which can be done in full or through monthly installments.

Tuition rates, class schedules, and important details are provided, and early registration is offered to currently registered families.

The preschool, which follows the Lake Bluff School District 65 schedule, emphasizes the importance of submitting necessary documents and toilet training for enrollment.

Lake Bluff Preschool offers curriculum that incorporates various educational theories to prepare children for academic success while honoring their individuality and childhood.

In addition to their core curriculum, the preschool provides enrichments that focus on improving children's Executive Functioning Skills, such as working memory, control/self-regulation and cognitive flexibility.

The preschool also emphasize STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Creativity, and Math) through hands-on, problem-based learning, recognizing the interconnectedness of these disciplines in real-world applications.

Lake Bluff Preschool offers a range of classes for early childhood and elementary-age children, including engineering, makerspace and specialized programs like "Blast Off into the World of Art" and "Book Worms.”

Lake Bluff Elementary School District 65 offers free preschool screenings for children residing in Lake Bluff who are 3, 4, or 5 years old and have not entered kindergarten.

The screenings aim to identify any developmental challenges in areas such as speech, motor skills, learning ability and social growth.

Screenings are conducted on specific dates throughout the school year, and parents/guardians must register their child in advance.
