Lake Forest podcast host: ‘The people haven't just spoken, they've shouted’

Joe Weiss, Lake Forest podcast host, said that the overwhelming majority, 73.5%, voted in favor of change showing a need for updated bylaws and expanded voting options to accommodate diverse schedules and needs. Weiss announced the news of the vote for new caucus leadership on a recent episode of the Lake Forest podcast.

"The people haven't just spoken, they've shouted," Weiss told host  Pete Jansons on the Lake Forest podcast. “Let's do some quick math, 1042 divided by 1417, 73.5% of the vote. That's more than two-thirds. That's bigger than Randy's victory over Pro Bowler. If that's more than two thirds, maybe we can get these damn bylaws corrected."

“Number one, get in an absentee online, whatever you want to call it, remote voting process, early voting, whatever it is, in place because it is, you know, people can't, whether it's six hours or 8 hours or 12 hours,” said Weiss. “The regular elections now, they got all these options for voting now."
