Riverwoods Preservation Council (RPC) has released its February newsletter, outlining several upcoming events and initiatives focused on sustainability and community engagement.
The next RPC meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 24 at 4:00 pm via Zoom. Additionally, the RPC in collaboration with the Sustainability Task Force will host the Resident Cost Share Program Forum on Wednesday, February 25 at 7:30 pm at Village Hall.
An Earth Day Birthday celebration is planned for Saturday, April 26 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Village Hall grounds. The event will commemorate Arbor Day, Compost Awareness Month, Climate Action, and more.
Other notable events include a Talkin’ Trash Webinar featuring SWALCO, LRS, and RPC with details to be announced soon. Furthermore, a Seed Expo is set to take place at CLC on March 8 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
The council is also inviting young artists to participate in celebrating native plants by sharing their artwork. Additional topics covered in the newsletter include Curbside Compost Guidelines among others.
