Orphans of the Storm is hosting the "Fur-ever Yours" adoption event this Valentine's Day weekend, offering an opportunity for families to welcome a new pet into their homes.
The event will run from Friday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16, between noon and 5:00 pm. During this period, adoption fees are reduced to $50 for dogs and cats aged six months and older.
Orphans of the Storm encourages those unable to adopt at this time to share the promotion with friends in hopes of facilitating more pet adoptions.
Founded in 1928, Orphans of the Storm is committed to caring for orphaned, abandoned, abused, or neglected cats and dogs. The shelter provides medical and physical care with an aim to find loving homes for every animal. To date, nearly 150,000 dogs and cats have been placed through their efforts.
Regular adoption hours are Wednesday-Friday from noon to 4 pm and Saturday- Sunday from noon to 5 pm. The shelter remains closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and national holidays.
