Amy Powers, a professional garden coach focused on sustainable and low-maintenance landscapes, will host a session on preparing gardens for spring and the essentials of proper pruning.
The event is scheduled for March 19, 2025, from 7 PM to 8 PM at the Vernon Area Public Library located at 300 Olde Half Day Rd, Lincolnshire, IL 60069.
This event is free and open to all; however, registration is required. Interested participants can sign up online, by telephone at 224-543-1485, or in person at the library.
The Vernon Area Public Library serves approximately 44,000 residents of Lincolnshire and unincorporated Prairie View, most of Long Grove, portions of Buffalo Grove, Riverwoods, Vernon Hills as well as the surrounding community.
Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 9 PM; Friday and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM; and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
