The Bannockburn Police Department released its weekly activity report for the period from February 26 to March 4, 2025.
DUI Arrest
On March 2, 2025, at 12:52 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Lake Cook Rd near Portwine Rd. The driver, Volodymyr Kurysh, male, age 39, of the 5300 block of Chester Av., Chicago IL, was arrested for speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was processed and charged before being released. Kurysh is scheduled to appear at the Lake County Courthouse in Waukegan on April 10, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
