The Village of Hawthorn Woods Parks & Recreation Department is seeking volunteers to assist with environmental and park projects, special events, and other tasks. The department aims to engage with volunteers to enhance the community.

- Arbor Day Tree Giveaway: Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM - Noon
- Adopt-A-Highway Clean-Up: Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
- Buckthorn Busters: Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
