Convening to hear reports and consider new programs, the Lake County Law and Judicial Committee met 10:30 a.m. Feb. 2 in the 10th floor assembly room at 18 N. County St. in Waukegan.
To consider a subdivision plat among other items, the Lake Forest Plan Commission will gather for its regular meeting 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in City Hall Council Chambers.
Steel signage, corner canopy coverage and repurposed lighting documentation records will be approved when the Highwood Appearance Review Committee (ARC) meets 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Lake County Workforce invites all area employment seekers to its Workforce Development Workshop from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on March 2 at the Bittersweet Golf Course at 875 Almond Road in Gurnee.
Tending to old and new business, Lake Forest’s Elawa Farm Commission is scheduled to meet from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the City Hall’s City Council Conference Room.
To address grant and employment issues, Lake County’s Housing and Community Development Commission will meet 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Central Permit Facility’s second floor conference room.

In preparation for a long lineup, the Lake County board has issued its final agenda report prior to its meeting 9:00 a.m. Feb. 9 at Lake County’s Administrative Complex.
The Village of Vernon Hills Committee of the Whole approved several requests for architectural projects Monday at its regular meeting.
Panhandling, police policies, mannequins and village visitor strategies were the topics discussed at the Gurnee Village board’s regular meeting 7:00 p.m. Jan. 11 at Gurnee Village Hall.
Lake County’s board will have a Special Call meeting Monday at the Lake County Courthouse and Administrative Complex.
