Report: Lincolnshire Prairie View spent $16,671 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103 is up 9 percent from five years ago, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the Lake County school district spent $15,351 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $16,671 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1628 to 1743.

Lincolnshire Prairie View's spending in 2016-17 was 29 percent higher than the state average of $12,973.
