Highland Park Township High School District 113 reported five suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 5 students during the year. That equates to 0.1 percent of the 3,710 students enrolled.

The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for violence that caused physical injury. The category includes one incidents. There were one incidents of a dangerous weapon, other than a firearm. For two incidents, students were suspended for 3-5 days.
