School discipline: Which Lake County districts reported the most gun-related suspensions?

Diamond Lake School District 76, North Chicago School District 187 and Antioch Community Consolidated School District 34 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to firearms during the 2016-17 school year in Lake County, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
