Report: Fox Lake Grade spent $12,992 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Fox Lake Grade School District 114 is up 16 percent from five years ago, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Lake County school district spent $11,196 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,992 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 802 to 797.

Fox Lake Grade's spending in 2017-18 was 2.6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
