Report: Lincolnshire Prairie View spent $16,340 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103 is up 3.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Lake County school district spent $15,854 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $16,340 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1671 to 1808.

Lincolnshire Prairie View's spending in 2017-18 was 22.5 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
