Report: Bannockburn spent $23,100 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Bannockburn School District 106 is up 14.1 percent from five years ago, according to a Lake County Gazette analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Lake County school district spent $20,249 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $23,100 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 187 to 159.

Bannockburn's spending in 2017-18 was 73.2 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
