Wayne Sobczak President | Community High School District 117
The National Honors Society inducted 55 new members on Tuesday, April 22nd.
Family and friends gathered in the auditorium to celebrate the accomplishments
of these students and watch them accept the challenge of being dedicated to
community service as well as scholarship. Assistant Principal Kyle Naughton,
School Board member Sandy Jacobs, and current NHS president Jia Singh all made
remarks to welcome the inductees and wish them well.
The new inductees are: Alyssa Aas, Basim Al-Nafoosi, Taylor Annexstad, Lilyann
Blasius, Madilynn Bradley, Sarah Broman, Ashley Brooks, Cooper Buckingham, Paul
Casey, Bhavitha Chilakuri, Zoey Christian, Connor Cicero, Sean Collins, Thea
Colwell, Grace Coughlin, Aliyna Cox, Caitlin Crawford, Alejandra Cruz,
Jonathan Czapla, Smruti Dhage, Allison Gedville, Samantha Hlinak, Maya Hobe,
Alessia Hopkins, Kendall Hutson.
