University of Saint Mary of the Lake issued the following announcement on Nov. 5
On November 3, generous donors and members and representatives of our Saint Mary of the Lake Legacy Society joined our seminarians, faculty and staff for a special Mass and dedication. Father John Kartje delivered a homily on the meaning and origins of the word “legacy.” You can listen to it HERE.
The Mass was followed by a blessing and dedication of our new donor appreciation display in Mundelein Hall by Monsignor John Canary who was rector from 1995 – 2006. Then lunch and a lively conversation was enjoyed by all.
