Lake Forest School District 67 has announced the appointment of Candace Swanson as an occupational therapist. Swanson will focus on fostering connections with students and staff within the district. She expressed her decision to join District 67 due to its strong reputation for providing a welcoming and inclusive environment that values every learner. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Swanson enjoys spending time with family and friends and is eager to engage with the Lake Forest community.

"I am excited for the opportunity to build relationships with staff and students in a district with such a wonderful and inclusive reputation," said Swanson, according to Lake Forest School District 67.

According to Lake Forest Schools, both Lake Forest School Districts 67 and 115 accept only online applications for certified and non-certified roles, requiring applicants to meet Illinois State Board of Education licensure standards for teachers, paraprofessionals, and substitutes. The districts are recognized statewide and nationally for their innovative instruction, strong programs, and highly qualified staff. Lake Forest Elementary School District 67 serves approximately 1,600 students from Pre-K through eighth grade.
